Is this psychotherapy or coaching…?

Neither. And Both.

While this work is influenced by more traditional evidence based psychotherapy modalities including Internal Family Systems, Somatic Experiencing, PACT and CBT, I’ve found that different moments in life call for a wider range of tools than what psychotherapy alone can offer.

Sometimes it feels like we’ve lost the art of being human in community and learning from respected elders who have lived lives similar to ours, or are embodied representations of parts of ourselves we’d like to gracefully live into. Somewhere along the line, those with “knowledge” veered away from sharing personal stories as a means of learning and relating. But relatable stories are one of the most essential ways humans learn.

So if you’ve been led here, perhaps you find something relatable - perhaps you’re looking for something deeper. Something more personal, but with the skill, depth and safety offered by professional support.

I help you design your way into relaxed freedom and deeper connection via getting to know yourself better and becoming more masterful in your relationship to your own feelings and emotions. We use the latest in applied neuroscience to work with connection, touch, movement, meditation and imagination to help you come home to you.

Finding your center on your own is one thing. Maintaining your center in relationships (whether professional, personal or romantic) is a whole other animal.

But in order to do this, sometimes you have to empty out what’s blocking you (which can look like releasing tension or suppressed emotion), or dismantle existing structures (which could be anything from antiquated belief systems to lifestyle habits) so you can architect a life and relationships that match True You.

Because of the intentionality of this art, one option for working together is through monthly containers, where your practice extends beyond the time you are in session, as does my energetic and tangible support.
